Body Shop Haul | Beauty

Hello! Today, this post is basically about my long lasted obsession with body shop cosmetics. I've gone round my house taking pictures of my most favourite cosmetics, whether they're creams, body butters, scrubs or shower gels, they're all below for you to see. I hope you enjoy reading this post and leave a comment below telling me what you thought :-)

Firstly-

I literally cannot explain enough how gorgeous these two body butters smell. The strawberry body butter was given to me by a friend for my birthday and I find that its scent is delightful. It's not that greasy either, which is what I find when using body butters. I actually take the strawberry one to school with me in my bag as it's really convenient for just applying when I have spare time, plus many of my friends adore the smell too, which I find is a bonus. The second one i've chosen is the olive body butter. It has that earthy scent and a really neutral olive essence. This is actually my mums, however she doesn't mind me using it now and again. They both leave my skin feeling really hydrated and smooth too. Ideally, most people would use this straight after being in the shower, but I tend to use this mainly for hand cream.

Secondly-

As I have quite dry skin I find that the Hemp Hand Protector relieves that excellently. Personally, this thick cream restores the moisture in my skin so so well. It also lasts for a long while too and my hands feel so soft throughout the day. Now, the Moisturising Hand Wash provides me with such a perfectly soft touch after washing my hands. It's got such a exquisite scent too and sometimes I even wash my hands for the purpose of having that constant, gorgeous smell. Not many people like this smell as it's quite strong, but, there's just something about it that makes me feel like i'm somewhere exotic.

My third cosmetic-

One of my most favourite body shop scents are the strawberry essences. In the image above, I have chosen my Strawberry Body Polish and my Strawberry Lip Balm. I do only use the body polish in the shower and it has the strawberry seeds included in the gel which makes the product much more intriguing and fascinating. It makes a good exfoliator also, aswell as smelling divine. Furthermore, the sweet, scented aroma that the Strawberry Lip Balm also carries is amazing. Aswell as the Strawberry Body Butter that I also take with me to school I always seem to slip the lip balm into my bag along with it. It can be a bit annoying when you have no where to put the access lip balm after use. I defiantly recommend you purchase these if you haven't already.

Lastly-

I absolutely adore the smell and texture of this gorgeous pink grapefruit body puree. It leaves my skin feeling so fresh and soft. Whenever I'm feeling warm at any point, I just apply this puree to my skin and it instantly cools it down. I've recently just bought this and I fell in love with it straight away. It's very strong and zesty aswell. Plus a little goes a long way! At first, when I read 'pink grapefruit', I didn't realise how much I'd like it. I thought it'd be very sweet and sickly, but it's actually so good.

Well that's all for today! I hope you've enjoyed reading, I thought i'd do a beauty themed post today as I haven't done one already. Thankyou for reading and i'll do another post sometime next week. I'm not too sure what the next post will be about but it may be something to do with Interior Design. Bye for now :-)

Exterior Design | lifewithluce

Hi there! I thought it was time for another blog post as it's been a good few days since I last did one. After some different thoughts and ideas on what this blog post would be about I came to the decision that exterior design would be a good idea :-) House designs, inside and out, have been a great passion of mine since I was around eight or nine years old. It began when I went to Victoria in Australia when I was eight. The architecture and different designs in houses and buildings really opened my eyes, not just in an intrigued sense but also in a possible career path. Since then, i've been obsessed with exterior and interior designs. In this post i'm going to show you four beautiful and interesting houses of which i've fallen in love with. I hope you enjoy reading! :-)

Firstly-

This stunning, Georgian featured house has such elegance and beauty. I really think the deep grey door complements the white finish to the house perfectly. Personally I can't find fault in the classic architecture, it looks like an ideal family home with welcoming touches. I'd definately be a proud home owner if this was my house. It looks quite large from the outside which suggests that the rooms inside are spacious and open- something I always look for in a house. I like the fact there is greenery around the house to bring more colour and depth to the house surroundings, you can clearly see a white, grey and green colour theme in this picture.

My next picture-

Now onto this beautiful cottage, I think most people would agree with me that this house has such character and warmth. I'd say it's a rural home due to the vast amount of greenery, this could be seen as a negative thing because of how the trees don't allow any light inside the house. However, it definitely looks cute and pretty from the outside. I love the doors and windows too, they really bring out the country feel to it. Again, this cottage looks like an ideal family home and even though it's slightly enclosed within the trees and bushes, I still find it a welcoming home for family and friends due to it's beauty and charm.

My third house-

I'm literally obsessed with grand, beverly hills type houses like these. I think the blue rimmed windows really give that edge to the house and make it look so much more classier. Obviously the image instantly becomes much more interesting with this amazing pool. It also looks quite 'grown up'. I also really like the fact that it's so tall, the three stories make the house look and feel much more high class and exclusive. I would definately love to live here, it looks like the perfect place for parties and get togethers :-)

My last house-

Now I thought by having a different range of designed houses it would make people more fascinated by this post. I wanted to show you this unique and engaging house to perhaps increase your knowledge on different architecture. I find this intriguing house really striking and exotic, what I mean by that is that I find having open planned houses really modern and convenient. I find the greenery from the trees make the household much more hidden and private. This house reminds me of a smaller version of the Cullen house in twilight, as childish as it seems, it makes me much more inclined to see not just the exterior of the house but the interior too. It seems as if it's an Eco friendly house due to how the house is surrounded by the environment. I really appreciate this peculiar and extraordinary architecture because of how much thought has been put into it plus it's one of my most favourite designs of houses in this post.

Thankyou for reading this post and spending your time on it. You never know, if you've been inspired you could be doing similar posts to this in the near future. Bye for now!   :-)

Holiday Destinations | lifewithluce

Hello! So, as i've recently been on holiday, I thought i'd do a blog post all about holiday destinations and where I have been or would love to go in summer. Plus the weather today is bliss and hopefully this post will get you in the summer time spirit. This post could even inspire you to travel to more vast and unique destinations around the world. I've always dreamt of travelling the world as long as I can remember so I'm looking forward to adding this post to my blog and sharing it with you :-)

My first holiday destination-

Australia

To me everything about Australia's sights, weather and pure beauty and excitement give me the urge to hop on a plane and say goodbye to cold and rainy England once and for all. I chose these two images of Australia to indicate how much fascination one place can have. I think it really shows the exotic part of the vast country perfectly. Not to mention all the colourful and exquisite fish that swim around in the clear blue, Australian ocean. I would love to go back, not just because of how beautiful it is but also because it holds so many amazing memories for me and I'd have to say it's one of my favourite places i've ever been to.

Secondly-

Vietnam

I don't really think I need to explain in much detail to why i've chosen this picture to represent the alluring Vietnam. I've never actually been to Vietnam and I don't really know much about the place other than it has spectacular views, as you can see, and that I've heard so many amazing things about it. The deep green hills and the precision of the terraced fields are so unique and fascinating. I've been drawn to the cultural side of Vietnam too, I'd love to see how the farmers work on the rice fields and their day to day lives as it's so different and interesting. I'm definitely going to visit Vietnam at least once in my life and I hope you do too:-) I also think it's quite a romantic place too, it'd be a perfect, spontaneous honeymoon destination.

My third favourite holiday destination-

Japan

Personally I think Japan is one of the most peaceful, calming, relaxing places in the world. However the cities in Japan are quite hectic and chaotic but you can always avoid the major cities. The neatness and attraction of Japan is endless, the main things that strike me most about Japan are the blossom trees, the stunning mountain views and the unique architectural buildings. Again, i've never actually been to Japan but nevertheless I plan on stopping in Japan on my future travels:-) What inspired me about travelling to Japan and its neighbouring countries most was a beautiful film called The House of Flying Daggers. I couldn't recommend that film enough to you, it's by far one of the best films i've ever seen. The beauty and elegance that reflects these wondrous countries is just incredible. If that doesn't inspire you to go to Japan I don't know what will!

Lastly my fourth choice-

French Alps

Finally, my last holiday destination is here, the stunning French Alps, of which I visited two years back. It was one of the most impressive places i've probably ever been. There is such a wide range of activities to do also, from skiing on the vast mountain sides to just a quick swim in the dazzling lakes. I went in summer and the weather was superb! We did so many different activities too, such as white water rafting, mountain biking and canoeing. I would definitely recommend this beautiful destination. You never really forget these wondrous places:-)

Thankyou for reading, that's it for today! I really enjoyed doing this post and so I hope you enjoyed reading it! Just thought it was nice to get in the spirit of summer and joyous holidays ahead for some of us! I'm currently on spring break so hopefully I can do more posts over the next couple of weeks! Hope you have a good day!😊

Essential Accessories | Fashion

Hello again!

So this post is purely about fashionable accessories and their uses from day to day life. I've been searching for these particular accessories for a few days now so I hope you find the beauty in them as I most certainly do :-)

My first chosen image-

These gold rimmed, classy sunglasses are just gorgeous. You can find them in almost any high street store which could be seen as a downside as they're not 'unique' however I still adore them. The brilliant thing about these gorgeous sunglasses is the fact that you can wear them with almost anything because of the subtle colour they are. I've seen many models wearing these styles of glasses, which could give people the confidence to try out new styles. I personally don't own any of these only because of the dull, typical, english weather we are currently pressing through but as soon as I go shopping again i'll most definitely pick up a pair!

Second choice of accessory-

Now, the lace, trim ankle socks are a BIG yes for me. I wear my pairs for most shoes I own. I even wear my black ones for school so not only are they cute they're also ideal for most occasions. I get mine from topshop but i'm pretty sure you can find them in many popular shops, like River Island,
New Look etc. You can get them in a wide range of colours such as navy, grey, aqua, lilac, off white, lemon, pale blue, coral, lime, khaki and even patterned. I like to wear mine with my converse just as they're the perfect combination plus they look really cute and girly.

My third pick-

I found these two stunning watches last week and they instantly became my utmost favourite designs. It's as if the left watch is implying that you have all the time in world. I find that the exquisite watch's colours compliment each other really well, the deep brown and aqua are fab together. Plus I really like the big face as it stands out superbly. Now onto the glamorous, gold watch, I've been meaning to purchase one of these watches ever since I saw a similar one on my friend's wrist a few weeks back. It's got that 80's touch to it which makes it even more admirable. I also like how the word 'marc' is included into the face of the watch. It's a great way to showcase the brand's
name.

Lastly my fourth choice-

Right so I dont know if you could class this as an 'accessory' but it's just so ideal to slip into your handbag on a day out. Coco Mademoiselle is my current favourite and it's an absolute delight. I highly recommend you to try it out at your local boots store, hopefully you'll agree on the oriental fresh scent as I do. I realise this is a really quite expensive perfume so it could be out of your price range, but you could perhaps ask for your family members to put towards it at christmas or birthdays. Trust me it's really worth it. I also really like the bottle design, it looks really sophisticated and posh.

So that's all my posts for this week and I hope you've been inspired or even persuaded to purchase some of these gorgeous accessories i've shown you today.  I'm going on holiday next week so i'll hopefully post sometime afterwards:-)

4 Peacefully Designed Bedrooms | Interior

I believe having a warm, cosy and comforting bedroom is they key to relaxation and a good nights sleep. In this post i'm going to show you my four most favourite bedrooms I have collected over the last couple of months. These bedrooms I have chosen have a range of character and creativity.

My first choice of bedroom-

With this gorgeous design of a bedroom you can clearly see passion with the plain but calm scheme. I really like this open and bright bedroom because it's cool yet sophisticated and I think it'd work brilliantly as a spare room or even a small master bedroom. The only thing that I can criticise on is the privacy, i'd feel rather exposed with the neighbours view in clear sight however that's common in most houses. I can see also they have added extra class with the splash of brown and creams from the cushions and the picture frames on the shelves.

My second choice-

I absolutely adore this room! It has so much character and almost has a old century feel to it. The colour of the walls compliment the grey bed throws superbly and the touch of gold and chestnut give that interest and quality. The picture gives that bold statement to the decor which I personally find important in interior- to have that edge! I'd definitely love this style of decor in my own house and is a really cute and exciting idea for a double bedroom.

Third choice of bedroom-

So this is a really unusual and bold choice for me although the 'old fashioned' theme is a great interest of mine and I really have a big passion with vintage bedrooms. It reminds me of the series Downton Abbey me and my mum used to watch and I think a personal message behind interior is such a heart warming thing to me. The green and red colour scheme is really stunning and courageous to have such bold colours together, nevertheless it works perfectly in this decor. The large Georgian styled double was quite a risky option but I think it reflects my personality in it's bold, wacky and interesting sense.

And lastly my fourth choice-

Ok, so my last unique bedroom I have to show you today is this remarkable, cute and quirky bedroom. I saw this and knew straight away that i just had to include it in my blog post. This has to be the cutest yet smallest room i've ever encountered! But it's the fact that they've used the space so well by just adding a tv at one side and an all important radiator at the other. Plus, the fairy lights above add warmth and uniqueness. Not to mention the gorgeous, floral duvet cover included! I'd just be scared of falling out of the window it's that enclosed.. I love the personal touch by adding photos on the wall too, I think this is definitely designed for a young girl of even a teen.

Well that's my four gorgeous bedrooms for you! I hope you've enjoyed reading this post and perhaps leave a comment if you like! Thanks for reading :)
